Project Description
Potty Mouth Soap is a local Ottawa small business that has established a successful presence through in-person sales at farmers' markets and local events. As the business grew, the owners wanted to strengthen their brand identity and expand into online retail. I developed the visual brand identity, designed and built the e-commerce website, conducted product photography, and created large-format marketing banners for use at their market booths. The project established a cohesive brand across digital and print media while enabling the company to broaden its reach through online sales.

Online Retail
The Brand
The brand was designed to reflect the natural, handcrafted qualities of the products through an earthy colour palette, organic design elements, and a clean, minimalist aesthetic. Readily available fonts and accessible design assets were intentionally selected to allow the business owner to confidently create future marketing materials while maintaining a consistent visual identity across print and digital platforms.
A specific request from the client was a new online retail platform where customers could browse her products. This included product photography, product descriptions, inventory organization, and the setup of inventory and order management systems, creating a simple and intuitive shopping experience for customers.
Signage
In addition to an online store, the owner was also overhauling the look of her farmers' market booth. As part of this, I was asked to design a handful of vinyl signs to advertise her business and pricing.
